Welcome to the Animal Gallery.

The original animal art currently on display in this gallery include cats, kittens, bunnies, fish, and roosters painted on assorted handmade Asian rice papers. I am currently working on new series of horses, roosters and more kittens. Sumi inks from China and Japan as well as walnut ink granules from Switzerland are my mediums of choice with accent colors of Chinese watercolor. Most originals are signed using my Chinese name Mei Giu Pin in ink or graphite accented by my personalized carved chop and vermillion ink. Since I favor smaller formats for my sumi ink paintings I most often create sets or groupings that may easily be arranged horizontally or vertically to accommodate any design space.

These original paintings are available framed or unframed, as limited editions, and as greeting cards. Contact me for additional information. They are also available for licensing.
